this is awful…
but for a while,
i wished that my angel cowboy
would have a flaw
or do something to mess this up -
because then,
the hard decisions would not
have to be made…
but he has been perfect
in every way
and
i’ve stopped wishing
for an easy end

i love my brother. we’re not close and i don’t know if we’ll ever be – but i admire him. he has always been out of place but has plugged on despite. i hope he finds his niche in this hard world.
